During your Erasmus stay, you will get to know the library and find out about our current renovation project. We will introduce you to international and national collaborations and give you an overview of our organisation and main research services. We will also have a look at how new trends such as digitisation and artificial intelligence are impacting the Austrian library sector.

Important: For this track, there is the option of an individual extension to a 5-day program (until May 23rd). Applicants who are interested in an individual extension beyond May 21st should contact Claudia Hausberger simultaneously with their application in Mobility Online.

Evaluation & monitoring of full professorships and tenure-track procedures; digitalization of procedural workflows; professionalization; standards in review management, e.g. anonymization, bias, etc.

Good Academic Practice, Handling of Scientific Misconduct, and Ethics Committee
Institutional approaches to promoting academic integrity; explore different perspectives and approaches to supporting researchers and addressing scientific misconduct across institutions.

Researcher Assessment
Evaluating professors, using peer review and responsible metrics; approaches to researcher assessment.

Quality Assurance in Doctoral Education and Doctoral Schools
Periodically survey doctoral candidates and supervisors, monitor the performance during their studies and analyse their labour market performance after graduation.

QA of administration/services
The different methods and procedures of QA in this area, the role of QA-units in assuring service quality, how QA of services takes into account the needs of research and teaching, and the experiences regarding benefits and challenges of QA in this area.

Center for Doctoral Studies and Career Development including Doctoral Admission Office
The Center for the central contact point for matters related to doctoral education at the University of Vienna. The team offers consultations about the first steps and requirements of the doctoral programmes at the University of Vienna, as well as funding possibilities and administrate internationalization tools like Visiting Phd Programmes and Cotutelles.  Upon request the topics Data Monitoring and Recruiting Tool Project could be covered as well.

EU and International Programmes
Our team supports researchers of the University of Vienna who apply for research projects. The service includes information on various national and international funding programmes as well as support in filing an application or project planning (particularly with regard to budgeting) and management

RSCD - Knowledge Exchange, Technology Transfer and National Funding
The Knowledge and Technology Transfer is tasked with promoting the transfer of University technologies to industry, thereby helping to commercialise inventions for the public good, and generating revenue for the University to invest in further research.

Since January 2024, the University of Vienna develops a state-of-the-art career development program for postdocs, focusing on skill enhancement and empowering participants to take personal responsibility for their career paths.
