Erasmus+ Agreement with University of Dar-es-Salaam
In February 2024, the University of Vienna signed an Erasmus+ Agreement with the University of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, in addition to the existing university-wide agreement. To mark this milestone, Daniela Waldburger, Senior Lecturer at the Department of African Studies at the University of Vienna, visited the University of Dar-es-Salaam and met with David S. Muya, Head of the International Office. The university, with approximately 45,000 students, is considered the leading higher education institution in Tanzania.
The University of Vienna is excited to expand its collaborations in Africa through this agreement, making its partnership with the University of Dar-es-Salaam even more impactful. Both universities are eager to strengthen their collaboration and facilitate exchanges between the two institutions in the future.
