Consulting, support, incentive funding

Even the best project ideas are no guarantee of project funding. The project application must be well-prepared and drawn up in compliance with the objectives and targets of the programme and the call for proposals.

This means not only complying with formal criteria but also using current key terms or the skilful linking of the applicant's own project idea with the general objectives of the programme. And it also presupposes knowledge about the programme and the related possibilities and stumbling blocks.

Thanks to the central role of the International Office in the submission of education projects, we are informed about further application activities and know the questions and problems that arise. The experience and information acquired enable us to give other applicants (including in other activities and programmes) valuable hints and to contribute to solving problems. This ensures a continuous improvement of the University of Vienna's performance in the medium-term.

Make use of our service. The International Office will be happy to assist you in all phases of the filing of your application in the field of (higher) education.

These service comprises amongst other things:

  • General information on programmes
  • Information on deadlines for calls for proposals, applications and forms
  • Help in identifying appropriate programmes and calls for proposals
  • Answering questions on project applications
  • Advice on the project application
  • Assistance with internal University formalities
  • Assistance in making contact with cooperation partners

Incentive funding:

For Erasmus+ projects, there is also the possibility of incentive funding. A limited amount of internal University funding is available for this purpose. For further information, please contact the International Office.

In addition, the OeAD also offers an incentive funding system under the name Austria Mundus+ which, however, is limited to projects in the field of Knowledge Alliances and Capacity Building. Further information can be obtained here.
