A delegation of the University of Vienna comprised of Vice Rector Faßmann, Prof. Mazal and Lottelis Moser, recently visited Kyoto University. Dr. Kayo Inaba, Executive Vice-President for Gender Equality, International Affairs, and Public Relations welcomed her guests at this prestigious institution.

A collaboration between both Universities dates back to 1993. Numerous long-lasting research contacts were established between Kyoto University and the University of Vienna in the past 20 years, such as in the field of Aerosol Physics and Environmental Physics, Comparative Social Politics and Law or Cognitive Biology and Primate vocal communication.

During the visit new opportunities for further cooperation in research, teaching and academic exchange were explored.

Students can apply for an exchange semester at Kyoto University within the Non EU Student Exchange Program.
